::Happy Lunar New Year!::

Yay new year is next week! plus my manager is on leave for the whole of next week which means I get to be more slack at work!!! which also means longer lunch breaks lol.. Got an ang bao from the company today plus two mandarin oranges and this chocolate.. Think it's quite pretty!

Hmm but i'll be leaving in 2 weeks for someplace else.. hopefully the job will be much more challenging and enjoyable.. but i anticipate that the stress will definitely be much more than at Citi.. Hopefully my school work and projects won't suffer.. I've already caused my group mates much trouble with my schedule.. Guys if u're reading this.. I'm really sorry!! Hope u all understand..

Guess I'll miss my manager and some of my colleagues the most.. I think it's really important to have a good boss, as it will determine how far u can go in the company and whether he or she is supportive of u.. So far I like the guidance that my manager gives me, how she'll explain to me what processes we have and how they work so that I can understand the ongoing projects better.. But at least we can still keep in touch hopefully..

I was pleasantly surprised when I bumped into my ex-neighbour today.. who's about 5 years older than me.. she used to give me chinese tuition, and went to TJC as well as NTU's banking and finance.. I was buying breakfast at the shops near my office when she said hi to me.. She gave me her namecard and i was surprised that she was already an assistant VP at a bank nearby.. Apparently she's already changed jobs around 3 times since graduation..

Which got me thinking that i shld expect the same volatility when I enter the banking industry.. so even though the bank i may ultimately join is going through restructuring, it may not be a bad thing as well.. At least I heard that each time you change companies, u'll definitely get a pay rise which is the good thing.. We've arranged to meet for lunch next wednesday so am excited bout catching up with her too!

Anyways i've made up my mind to focus on my job and studies currently.. There's too many things going on in my life to be bothered by other things.. Although things may be better with love in your life, With or without love, life still goes on..
